In Psalm 90, the Psalmist is Moses. That’s right! The oldest author of the Holy Bible. In addition to writing the pentateuch, he took time to write the oldest psalm in the collection.
He was probably facing one of the difficult times in the desert when he wrote it, so he says: “Satisfy us in the morning with your loyal love, and all our days we will sing happily. Give us joy for the time you afflicted us, for the years in which we suffered so much”.
He had seen and gone through a lot of pain and suffering, but his prayer is from someone completely sincere. It’s like he’s saying, “I’ve suffered too much Lord, take me to another level.”
